The Richard & Jane Manoogian Mackinac Ar, 7070 Main St, Mackinac Island, MI 49757, USA

About

Watercolor teacher Megan Swoyer will lead a class for beginner watercolorists that features the island’s most cheerful and iconic flower — the geranium! She’ll take students through a few leaf exercises before a simple sketch and painting are created. Everything from wet-onto-wet and wet-onto-dry techniques will be explored, as well as leaf veining techniques and creating good composition.

You can check out some of Megan’s works at www.greenbushmedia.com or on Instagram: @meganswoyer.

Please note all summer 2020 workshops will be held outdoors, and will convene on the lawn directly outside the Richard and Jane Manoogian Mackinac Art Museum in Marquette Park.
