GET INVOLVED
There are many ways to get involved with the arts on Mackinac Island, from volunteering at events to teaching a workshop. The Mackinac Arts Council needs your help—contact us today to find out how you can help enrich the community of arts and culture on Mackinac.
Volunteer
We are in constant need of help managing, promoting, setting up, and tearing down our many events throughout the summer. If you have expertise in visual arts, music, film, technology, or simply love the arts, we'd love to have you as a volunteer! Learn more here, or talk to any volunteer at our events
Become a Member
Your membership provides arts and cultural programming for those who visit, work, and live on Mackinac Island. As a member you will receive our newsletters to stay informed about opportunities in the arts, and other special benefits. Your investment supports all MAC programs, including Community Theater as well as art and music programs at Mackinac Island Public School.
Rehearsal Space
Looking for a place to work on your piano skills, rehearse your band, or have a jam session? The Center for the Arts is open 9:00am-5:00pm daily and is often available for rehearsal after hours. The stage piano is available for the general public to use for practice.
The theater stage is available on a first come first served basis, and is subject to availability depending on other events. Please send us a message if you wish to confirm that the space is available at a specific time, or if you want to set up an appointment to use the space after hours.
